Kolkata is all set for the opening ceremony of Pepsi IPL T20.This will take place at Salt lake in Kolkata as KKR is the defending champion of IPL 2012.KKR will play the opening match against Delhi Daredevils at April 3rd.
A Grand opening ceremony is planned by the best professionals.West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will light the inaugural lamp in the evening.
Shahrukh Khan said "The opening nite of IPL 2013 will be a spectacular ceremony, the likes of which India has never seen before"According to him Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone will also perform the night.

Preliminarily pop star Jennifer Lopez was contracted,but she demanded too much to come.According to THE SUN,she demanded a private plane and dozens of hotel rooms for her. She also wanted to bring her personal stylists, assistants and chef as well.So the organisers dropped her.
